yovermar iPhone X 256GB • 5 yr. ago. I use it heavily at work, i had before the iPhone X, the capacity was at 92% of battery health and get to work at 23:00 until 05:00 with 100%, iPhone X at 05:00 had only 10-15% of battery left. Now i have the iPhone XS Max, same usage, same hours of work at 05:00 it have 30-35%. The following night I put it in airplane mode and the battery stayed at 100% for 8 hours. Previously I dealt with 10% battery drain overnight. Unfortunately, the rogue background app activity is still there, even on my iPad Pro which is on 15.1 beta 2. I have big hands but the device is still annoyingly big for no real reason. I thought the camera would be noticeably better than the 12 Pro’s but it’s not. Battery life is great although mine is degrading pretty fast (already down to 94% since Dec). iOS doesn’t take advantage of the bigger screen at all. 6. In my country, iphone 11 pro (256gigs) is currently sold second hand around $550 and 13 is $1000. I’m still considering on buying 12 (128 gigs) for $690 or 12 pro (128 gigs) for $800 but i guess i’ll need to skip a meal for a week lmao. Thanks for your advice, really appreciate it! 1. yaths17 • 1 yr. ago. For us XS users, the 12/Pro/Max is an upgrade when it comes to battery life. It has more battery juice and a more efficient chip. I understand how the 12/Pro/Max might not be an upgrade for 11 users though as the 11 has a really good battery life. To use go to settings/privacy/analytics & improvements/analytics data and look for an entry named “log-aggregated-2021-08-10-xxxxxxx” or similar and click the arrow to display it. Click the share button and look for “View Battery Cycle” in the share sheet from this shortcut. Click the “View Battery Cycle” and the health should I think mine IP14 pro max battery not last like on previous iOS, normally when I left home with 100% and I have not used the phone it was still at 100% after even 10-12 hours, but now on iOS17 after few hours it’s 96% without any using. Yes, I guess there’s some background stuff happening for a day or two after a major update. The iPhone 12 Pro Max is my first iPhone ever and the battery life is crazy. Where my pixel would be at 20-30% at the end of a work day (coming from 100%) from just sending several texts, a little googling, and some social media. I tried Apple Maps instead but no different. My friend had the same problem on his week old iPhone 15 Pro Max. No unusual settings nor activities yet the battery depletes to 25% 6 hours later. The phone is not unusually hot either. Out of desperation, he updated the phone to iOS 17.1 RC 2 and the problem disappeared. 90RSTL.
